How can I make an icon my AIM Smiley?
- Open up your Instant Messenger, click on the button "Prefs".
- Select the option for "Buddy Icons".
- In the area titled "Set Your Buddy Icon" choose "Browse PC".
- Select the icon on your pc that you wish to become your official Buddy Icon.
TIP: If you have a problem finding the icon you would like to use, simply right click on your preferred icon below, select "Properties", and copy the address or location to this file and paste it above when you reach Step 4.
How can I make an icon my MSN Messenger Smiley?- Open MSN Messenger and click on the "Tools" drop-down menu.
- Select the "My Emoticons" option.
- Select "Create" where you can import an icon and assign a shortcut.
TIP: Animated and/or oversized emoticons will only work from version 7.0.
